Well, I guess if I had to pick a place, I'd say that I'm from Minnesota.  This is just backstory, however.  I've spent various month/years in Iowa, Boston, Chicago, Vancouver BC, Seattle, and the SF Bay area (currently . . . for now)stocking up on experiences to someday be able to share insight with anyone that's gonna listen (HA!  Suckers!)

    I guess I'm an academic (Masters in Library and Information Studies from the University of British Columbia), but just like many a soul in this great land of ours, I'm requiring a retooling of . . . well, my life really.  See, years ago in a high school classroom, I was told I had a gift of the written word.  I didn't do shit with it . . . until now.  In the past 6 months, I've written a 30,000 word novella, a number of short strories, and have kept, as you may have noticed, a blog.  My main desire is to use this page to test out new story ideas, allow others to build on my ideas, and really, just start developing my writing chops again.  Oh, and keep on bullshittin'. 

    So, enjoy.  I kinda-sorta apologize to those who I may offend, but not really.  Despite any impressions you may get, I do want the best for all people.  I'm actually a pretty love-reality based guy, but everyone's gotta blow off steam somehow. 

    Welcome to my blowing-off-steam show.  Sometimes it'll even be worth something.  (Please let me know when that happens, eh?)
